This hand-built bowl in buff clay with green glaze on the interior with hand stamped bottom is washed in a cotton tail white glaze, which highlights the design on the bottom. A handmade stamp carved to resemble chamomile blossoms was pressed into the clay. This bespoke soup or oatmeal bowl is hand-formed - no two are alike. Surface variations are purposeful and unique to the piece - like the curve of a tree or anything else nature creates. For the longevity of the piece, handwashing is recommended. The bottom will patina with use. Holding this bowl in your hands is a connection to the earth and all its wonders. This bowl is roughly 6 inches by 2 inches deep.
